- Arrive at San Jose International Airport and transfer to our hotel.
- Check-in and settle into your accommodations.
- Join us for a delicious welcome dinner, where you’ll meet your fellow herping enthusiasts and trip leaders.
- Rest up and get ready for an adventure-packed week ahead!
Day 2: November 3rd – Herping Adventure on Hotel Property
- Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel.
- Embark on our first herping expedition right on the hotel property, led by experienced guides.
- Discover the hidden wonders of the local flora and fauna, including reptiles and amphibians unique to the area.
- Enjoy free time in the evening to relax and explore the hotel’s amenities.
Day 3: November 4th – Continued Exploration on Hotel Property
- After breakfast, dive deeper into the fascinating world of herpetology with another day of guided herping adventures on the hotel grounds.
- Learn about the intricate ecosystems and behavior patterns of the creatures we encounter.
- Capture stunning photos and memories of your up-close encounters with exotic wildlife.
Day 4: November 5th – Road Cruising and Nature Walk
- Today, we venture beyond the hotel property for an exciting road cruising excursion.
- Board our vehicles and journey to a nearby location known for its diverse wildlife.
- Spend the day cruising along scenic roads, spotting reptiles and amphibians in their natural habitats.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk to explore the surrounding area and soak in the beauty of the landscape.
Day 5: November 6th – Hotel Property Exploration
- Return to the hotel for another day of exploration and discovery.
- Delve into different areas of the property with our knowledgeable guides, uncovering hidden gems and rare species.
- Take advantage of optional activities offered by the hotel or simply relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Day 6: November 7th – Transfer to San Jose and Viper Encounter
- Check out of the hotel and transfer to a hotel near San Jose.
- Upon arrival, settle into your new accommodations and freshen up.
- Join us for an optional excursion to a nearby location renowned for its viper population.
- Spend the evening marveling at these fascinating creatures before retiring for the night.
Day 7: November 8th – Departure
- Enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel before checking out.
- Transfer to San Jose International Airport for your journey home.
